HardenMac/Terms of Sale

Terms of Sale

Last updated: August 11, 2026 · Contact: [email protected]

These terms govern the purchase of the HardenMac Safety & Recovery Protocol (current release: v1.1; founder's-launch price $29, list price $49 — one paid product, no tiers) through hardenmac.com and our listing on Gumroad. By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. What you're buying

A digital product: a PDF and Markdown guide, checklists, decision trees, and tracker workbooks. Documents only — no bundled scripts, executables, or automated tooling ship in the customer release. No physical goods are shipped. Third-party tools referenced in the material (for example Little Snitch, LuLu, Objective-See, or a password manager) are linked, not included.

2. License

You receive a single-user, personal-use license. You may use and adapt the checklists and trackers for systems you personally own or operate (or, as a small-business or freelance user, systems you are authorized to manage). You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or publish the files or their contents, in whole or in part; use the material to train another product; or represent it as your own work.

3. Delivery

Access and download are provided immediately after successful payment, via the receipt link from Gumroad. If delivery fails or a link expires, contact [email protected] for a reissue.

4. Updates

Your purchase includes free access to corrections we publish for the version you bought, available by re-downloading from your original receipt link. This is not a promise of future major versions, a lifetime-updates guarantee, or a perpetual update obligation.

5. Price and payment

Current price: $29 (founder's launch), rising to $49 at a later date to be announced; the price in effect when you complete checkout applies to your purchase. Payment is processed by Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record and is responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax or VAT. We do not receive or store your card details.

6. Refunds

See the Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. In short: a 14-day, no-questions refund window applies, subject to the narrow abuse safeguard described there.

7. Acceptable use

This material is intended for securing and recovering systems you own or are authorized to manage. You may not use it to facilitate unauthorized access to any system, account, or data that is not yours or that you are not authorized to access.

8. No guarantee — see Disclaimer

This product is educational material, not a guarantee of security or recovery, not antivirus software, and not professional incident response. The full Disclaimer applies to your purchase and use of the Protocol and is incorporated into these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HardenMac's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your purchase or use of the Protocol — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, loss of access to accounts or assets, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights under local law.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The Protocol is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute arising from these terms or your purchase will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida — except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date on this page.
